Papers of and relating to a gold miner of Idaho and attorney of Marshfield, Oregon. Collection includes: typescript reminiscences of the Idaho gold rush and early settlement of Murray, Idaho, as told by Stoll to H. W. Whicker; information on the Coeur d'Alene mine war of 1892; Stoll's marriage to Jennie Belle Rugh and, three years after her death, to Emma Jenson; and anecdotes about various Idaho lawyers and judges.
